HEART & SOUL OF QIMERA STUDIO

My name is Constança Vargas. Every single jewel is conceived and shaped by me. I design and produce all the pieces at QIMERA STUDIO. My background has nothing to do with goldsmithing, but life is full of surprises, and one day I found myself learning the craft in a workshop with four goldsmiths who have dedicated decades of their lives to it. Four men to whom I owe my gratitude and from whom I still have much to learn.

Now, I spend my time at my workbench, where I find joy in creating, experimenting, and crafting each piece with care and creativity. If you had told me I'd end up here, I wouldn't have believed it. But I turned my life around 180º, leaving behind an already established career in search of a full heart.

Qimera Studio is not a jewellery brand. It’s an alchemy of emotions, translated into form.
Here, metals are shaped not by trends, but by the weight of longing, the lightness of clarity, and the contours of self-discovery.
Every piece begins as a question: What do you desire to embody?

Inspiration doesn’t just come from shapes, nature, or what surrounds us. For me, it comes from feelings, states of mind, and what we desire for our lives. It comes from who we are, who we want to become, and what truly represents us.

All pieces are made of sterling silver. As they are crafted from noble materials, both their production and marketing are carefully controlled. Each piece is stamped with my goldsmith's mark, as well as the official hallmark of the precious metal used.

Each Qimera Studio piece is crafted individually, by hand, in our Lisbon studio.

Some pieces allow for subtle adjustments in size, a process that demands time, precision, and full attention to detail.

Because no two bodies are the same, we take the time to ensure that each piece fits you, and only you. This level of customization extends the production process by several hours, as every detail is refined slowly, with intention.

This is why each Qimera piece requires singular care. From the first moment to the final polish, nothing is rushed. Every step is done to uphold the highest standard of quality, so that what reaches you is not only beautiful, but lasting.
